Bali Yoga Retreat August 2024

Well, friends, the moment has come!

I officially announce our retreat in Bali from August 18th to 27th, 2024!

The magical island awaits us!

We will spend 7 unforgettable days in the Uluwatu area, at a hotel right by the beach, where you can swim and even try surfing for beginners if you wish. The ideal location and excellent price were my main criteria in choosing the hotel. Daily yoga sessions in beautiful company on this wonderful island—what could be better? And after a week by the ocean, we'll head to the center of the island, to Ubud, the capital of yoga enthusiasts. There we'll visit rice fields, beautiful waterfalls, and simply enjoy the local vibe and relax.

️What's the cost of the tour?

$1499 USD for double occupancy,

$1699 USD for single occupancy.

️What's included?

  • ️Accommodation in Uluwatu and Ubud ️Breakfast and lunch at the first hotel, breakfast at the second hotel

  • ️Daily yoga practices twice a day

  • ️Two free group online lessons from me for those who haven't practiced with me before ️

  • Workshops on backbends, hip openers and arm balances

  • ️Yoga Nidra

  • ️Yin Yoga

My teaching style

The style of yoga that I practice and teach is called Vinyasa Yoga. Despite common myths popular amongst ashtanga students, I believe that this is traditional way of practicing asanas taught to us by Tirumalai Krishnamacharya, the father of modern yoga as we know it.

I’ve been practicing Ashtanga Yoga for many years, but with time I realized that this practice doesn’t work for everyone. This practice has started to feel overwhelming, exhausting, not contributing to my well-being (which I believe is the main purpose of yoga). On the contrary, in my Vinyasa class you can expect a flowing style practice with a different mix of poses each time with a focus on coordinating movement with the breath.  The sequences make perfect sense, its’s challenging but in a good way. The flowing element of moving from asana to asana gives a rhythm to the practice, builds heat and encourages the practitioner to quiet the mind and focus.  The advantage of this style of practice, is that you get to try a wide variety of poses and different pose combinations, practice at a different pace and learn different ways of entering and exiting poses.
